Corona

Mexican Pale Lager.

This is Living.

Waves, sand, warmth, palm trees and good vibes. Corona is a Mexico based pale lager beer. Very light and refreshing, goes well with a slice of lemon. The aesthetic is represented with warm, light sand beaches, surrounded with palm trees and friends, and an ocasional dip in the ocean, with or without a surfboard. That is the proper Corona ad, combining the 60's soul/surf and psychadelia of an eletric guitar of the band Khruangbin.

The moodboard show us what Corona is, what it feels like, and where to consume it best.

We were contacted though Moonstro Studio to draw a clothing line for Corona that would be sold at a shop at the WSL surf competition event in Rio de Janeiro. So it was decided to go for a light pattern that could cover parts of a tee, or the entire shirt. The illustrations suggest the deep ocean waves, very calming, instead of crashing waves. Other designs might resamble seaweeds.

Style

Seaweed-like drawings can become a print or a pattern. Also combined with some words from the manifesto video.

This is living, the articulation of that feeling we have when we find ourselves in awe of where we are. Our feet in the sand. A Corona in our hand. And space to breathe.
