Based on specific exhibitions, in this case "Triceratops: Eat, Roam, Repeat" shown at Manchester Museum, the dinosaur fossil was illustrated digitally and fit into a pattern surrounded by ancient ferns, called Tempskya, now exctinct. If you already have a manufacturer handy, license the designs to explore printing it on a series of surfaces, from shirts to water bottles, mouse mats to fleece blankets. You'll get the designs in high resolution, as a tile, ready to go on repeat, with layers organised seperately to change/correct colours if needed, change scale from maxi to micro, you decide. The collections are hidden for exclusivity, the Museums suit capsule collections, the others have from 8 to 12 patterns.

The compendium series I created is inspired by botanical studies and classical encyclopaedias, each piece serving as a curated "compendium", a concise, annotated record of facts surrounding every motif, perfect for Museums, Botanical Gardens and more. All text is handwritten using a tablet, every word fitting into one another, not a font, to make this piece even more special.

I love illustrating intricate skulls and fossils

I believe they are intriguing and interesting. The botanicals I merge along the skull's spaces gives a feeling of a macabre motif with a calming and beautiful presence of nature, a composition to create balance, depth, and movement but also to honour something long gone.
