Concept Website for Dirty Hit Record Label

Dirty Hit is a British independent record label founded in 2009. Based in West London.

With a very minimalistic, black aesthetic and slightly futuristic feel, I proposed the website would be the fans proper place to explore through artists, tours and merch. I wanted to design something for the label that would translate the feel and style that I see on some digital projects I came across. When I typed the website, only a simple page poped up.
The goal was to design and layout a distinct web page, with odd interactions and proposing something out of the ordinary.

The pages are organised by STR and GD, meaning START and GUIDE. Think of it as Start the Menu, and Guide the Submenu.

Once you chose Tours from the Menu, you can navigate on the Submenu through the artists. Everytime the acronym of the artist glows in white, it means you can click again. It will always take you to the artist main page, on the submenu of course.

Navigating through it you should explore the pages, where to click, what happens if you click again, and where do you go from each page, because there are usually two ways to get to The Japanese House tours page, for exemple.

The Shop section as well as the Tours one you can flip through the artists and see tours of each one. Explore what you click twice to see what happens.
