Using the immense range of brazilian plants as cosmetics is something that goes way back. Brazil has more than 46,000 species of plants, algae and fungi. Imagine how many can be used in cosmetics. The more a brand follows that path, the less it uses chemicals that make no sense to apply on your skin. Onyá is a very personal brand, in which a brazilian woman named Mariar started to produce these products with her own hands. The logo is designed by me by the way.
The client asked me for labels to her products, which were usually glass pots with cork lids for liquids and creams. She uses lots of ingredients combined, so I decided to go for brushes also combining colours that she used for the composition of that product specifically. Some have too many ingredients, so I only used 2 or 3 colours. Handwritten font to simulate that the product itself is all handmade and carefully crafted. There were requests to design soap labels too, which she sells it by the block.
